QUEENSLAND ELITE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Volleyball Australia Elite Development: Queensland (QEDP) is part of the Volleyball Australia High Performance Pathway and has been established to provide a high performance training environment for young athletes in South-East Queensland.

Athletes invited to be part of this program have been identified as having the potential to play Volleyball (Beach or Indoor) at the international level in the future, with a specific view to participation at an Olympic level.

The program incorporates both Indoor and Beach disciplines and involves players making a commitment to undertake training on a regular basis each week. This program runs annually on a 12-month basis, providing athletes with access to world class Volleyball coaching, technique and skill development combined with strength and conditioning and athlete management.
