Sport and Recreation Queensland is responsible for developing and supporting opportunities for Queenslanders to participate in sport and active recreation. Volleyball Queensland would like to acknowledge the significant contribution that Sport and Recreation Queensland makes to the operation and function of our organisation.

Mikasa provide the Official Game Ball for all Indoor and Beach Volleyball run by Volleyball Queensland, including the Queensland Beach Volleyball Tour (QBVT) and the Queensland Schools Cup series. Every year the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships are hosted in a different state. In 2009 the Logan City Council supported Volleyball Queensland in hosting this prestigious event as our major sponsor and provided two excellent venues for the competition; Cornubia Insports and The Beenleigh Arena. The Championships bring together the best of the best in Australian Junior Indoor Volleyball and is a key event in the sport's calendar.

Volleycamp provides skill development opportunities for young athletes seeking to gain valuable experience, similar to that of a National team camp. It also provides development opportunities for coaches, by exposing them to a structured and holistic training environment, under the guidance of some of Australia's most qualified mentor coaches.
